Getting Started with Battery Health 3

What is Battery Health 3?

Battery Health 3 is a professional battery monitoring utility for your Mac. It lives in your menu bar and gives you detailed insights into your MacBook's battery, including power level, health, capacity, temperature, charge cycles, and more. You can also monitor connected iOS devices.

First Launch

Battery Health 3 is a menu bar app. When you first launch it, a small battery icon with a charge level percentage will appear in the menu bar at the top of your Mac's screen.

Click the battery icon in the menu bar to open the main window, which provides a comprehensive overview of your MacBook's battery.

Main Window Overview

The main window is divided into several sections:

• Charge Details -- Shows your current charge level, time remaining, and power source. Click the question mark icon next to the section title for a detailed explanation of each value.

• Battery Details -- Displays in-depth information about your battery's health, cycle count, temperature, and condition. Click the question mark icon for more details.

• Energy Hogs -- Lists the apps using the most energy on your Mac.

• Power History -- Lets you view charts tracking your power, charge, and health history over time.
