Monitoring iOS Devices (iPhone and iPad)

Learn how to connect your iPhone or iPad to Battery Health 3 to monitor its battery health.

Overview

Battery Health 3 can display battery statistics for your iOS devices, including iPhone and iPad. You can connect a device over USB to view its battery health, cycle count, and other details right alongside your Mac's battery information.

Connecting via USB

  1. Connect your iPhone or iPad to your Mac using a USB cable.
  2. When prompted on your iOS device, tap Trust to allow your Mac to communicate with it.
  3. Open Battery Health 3 and click the device dropdown at the top of the main window.
  4. Select your iOS device from the list.

You will now see your iOS device's battery information displayed in the main window.

Things to Keep in Mind

  • Your iOS device must be unlocked when you first connect it so it can establish trust with your Mac.
  • Battery information is only available while the device is connected and turned on.
  • If your device does not appear in the dropdown, try disconnecting and reconnecting the USB cable, then make sure you tap Trust on the iOS device when prompted.
