Multiple Macs and Transferring Licenses

Using FIPLAB apps across multiple Macs and transferring to a new machine.

Mac App Store Purchases

If you purchased a FIPLAB app from the Mac App Store, you can install it on any Mac signed into your Apple Account at no extra cost. Open the App Store on your other Mac, go to your Purchased list, and download the app.

FIPLAB apps do not support Family Sharing. Only the Apple Account that purchased the app can download and use it.

Direct Purchases (from fiplab.com)

If you purchased an app directly from fiplab.com, your license code allows activation on up to 3 Macs.

If you need additional activations beyond what your license allows, contact us with your license details and we can help.

Transferring to a New Mac

Mac App Store Apps

Apps purchased from the Mac App Store will be available automatically on your new Mac. Sign into the App Store with the same Apple Account and re-download your apps from the Purchased section.

Direct Purchase Apps

For apps purchased directly from fiplab.com:

  1. Download the latest version of the app from fiplab.com.
  2. Enter your existing license code to activate. You can find this in the original purchase confirmation email from Paddle.

If your license has reached its activation limit after setting up a new Mac, contact us and we can reset your activations.
