CopyClip Stopped Recording Clips
How to fix CopyClip when it stops capturing clipboard history
If CopyClip is no longer saving new items to your clipboard history, the most common cause is that the recording option has been turned off in Settings.
How to Re-enable Recording
- Right-click the CopyClip icon in your menu bar.
- Click Settings.
- Click the General tab.
- Make sure the Should record clips option is enabled.
Once enabled, CopyClip will begin capturing clipboard history again the next time you copy something.
Still Not Working?
If the setting is already enabled but clips are still not being recorded, try the following:
- Restart CopyClip -- Quit the app and reopen it.
- Check Accessibility permissions -- Go to System Settings > Privacy & Security > Accessibility and make sure CopyClip is listed and enabled.
- Restart your Mac -- A restart can resolve background process issues that may interfere with clipboard monitoring.
