Does CopyClip Support Syncing?

No. CopyClip does not have a built-in syncing feature. All clipboard history is stored locally on your Mac and is not synced between devices.

What About Universal Clipboard?

macOS includes a feature called Universal Clipboard that allows you to copy content on one Apple device and paste it on another. This is a system-level feature managed entirely by Apple, not by CopyClip.

When Universal Clipboard is enabled, CopyClip may capture text that arrives on your Mac's clipboard from another device (such as an iPhone or iPad). This is a side effect of how macOS handles the clipboard -- CopyClip simply records whatever appears on your Mac's clipboard, regardless of its source.

Enabling or Disabling Universal Clipboard

Universal Clipboard is controlled through macOS and iCloud settings, not through CopyClip. To manage it:

1. Go to System Settings > General > AirDrop & Handoff.
2. Toggle the Handoff setting on or off.
