Which Version of CopyClip Am I Running?

There are two versions of CopyClip available: CopyClip (the original) and CopyClip 2 (the newer, more advanced version). Here is how to tell which one you have installed.

Check via Settings

1. Right-click the CopyClip icon in your menu bar.
2. Click Settings.
3. Click the About tab.
4. Look at the name displayed beneath the app icon:
   • If it says CopyClip, you are running the original version.
   • If it says CopyClip 2, you are running the newer version.

Check via the Menu Bar Icon

You can also identify the version by its menu bar icon. CopyClip and CopyClip 2 use different icons, so if you have both installed, you will see two distinct clipboard icons in your menu bar.
