Scanning for Applications

After completing the initial setup and granting folder permissions, you can scan your Mac to build a complete list of installed applications and their associated files.

Running a Scan

Click "Start Scan" to begin. Delete Apps will scan your Mac and build a list of every application in your Applications folder along with its associated files.

Browsing the Results

After the scan completes, you will see a list of all installed applications. Each entry shows the app name, icon, location, and total size. The top of the window displays your current free space and how much space will be freed by your current selection.

You can use the search bar to find a specific app by name, or use the sort dropdown to order the list by size, name, or selection.

Reviewing Associated Files

Click the "Details" button next to any app to see all of its associated files. These include caches, preferences, support files, containers, and logs. Each file has a checkbox so you can choose exactly what to remove -- useful if you want to keep certain data while removing the rest.
