Login Items and System Health

Learn how to use the Login Items and System Health features in Disk Doctor Pro to keep your Mac running smoothly.

Login Items

Disk Doctor Pro lets you view and manage the apps and services that automatically launch when you log in to your Mac. Too many login items can slow down your startup time and consume system resources unnecessarily.

Viewing Login Items

The Login Items section in Disk Doctor Pro displays a list of all apps and background services set to launch at login. Each item shows its name and status.

Managing Login Items

To disable a login item:

  1. Navigate to the Login Items section in Disk Doctor Pro.
  2. Review the list of items that launch at startup.
  3. Disable any items you do not need running at login.

Tip: If you are unsure whether a login item is needed, leave it enabled. Some items are required by apps you use regularly.

System Health

Disk Doctor Pro also provides system health information to help you monitor the overall state of your Mac. This gives you a quick overview of your disk usage and system performance alongside the cleaning features.
