Getting Started with Disk Doctor

Disk Doctor helps you reclaim disk space by identifying and removing unneeded files from your Mac. This article covers the initial setup so you can start scanning right away.

Selecting Your User Folder

When you first launch Disk Doctor, you will be prompted to select your user folder.

Click the Select User Folder button. In the file picker that appears, click Choose in the bottom right corner. Do not navigate to a different folder -- simply confirm the default selection.

Once your user folder is selected, Disk Doctor displays an overview of your drive including free space, used space, and total capacity.
