Managing Your Downloads

Pausing and Resuming Downloads

You can pause any active download by clicking the small round Pause icon to the right of its progress bar. To resume a paused download, click the same icon again. Download Shuttle supports full resume capability, so you can pick up exactly where you left off -- even after closing the app.

Using the Download List

The main window displays all of your active and completed downloads. From here you can:

• Quicklook -- Select a completed download and click the Quicklook button to preview the file or reveal it in Finder.
• Remove -- Click the Remove button to remove a download entry from the list. This removes the entry from Download Shuttle but does not delete the downloaded file from your Mac.
• Inspector -- Click the Inspector button to see a detailed breakdown of the download, including the status of each individual segment.

Download Queue

Download Shuttle manages a download queue so you can add multiple files and let them process in order. You can control how many downloads run at the same time from the app's preferences. See the Settings article for details on adjusting the number of simultaneous downloads.

Tip: If you have a large batch of files to download, add them all at once and let the queue handle them automatically.
