Opening Settings

To open the preferences panel, do one of the following:

1. Press Cmd + , (Command and comma) on your keyboard.
2. Click Download Shuttle in the menu bar at the top of your screen, then select Settings.

Available Settings

Notifications

You can toggle download completion notifications on or off. You can also change the notification sound that plays when a download finishes.

Default Download Location

Set the default folder where new downloads are saved. You can always override this on a per-download basis when adding a new download.

Simultaneous Downloads

Control how many downloads can run at the same time. Increasing this number allows more files to download in parallel, but may reduce individual download speeds depending on your internet connection.

Warning Dialogs

If you have previously dismissed warning dialogs in the app, you can reset them from the preferences panel so they appear again.

Tip: If you frequently download files to a specific folder, set it as your default download location to save time.
