How to Reinstall an App from the Mac App Store
Step-by-step instructions for reinstalling a FIPLAB app you previously purchased from the Mac App Store.
Before You Start
If you've previously purchased or downloaded a FIPLAB app from the Mac App Store, you can reinstall it at any time at no extra cost. Just make sure you're signed in with the same Apple Account you used for the original purchase.
How to Reinstall
- Open the App Store on your Mac.
- Make sure you're signed in with the correct Apple Account.
- Click your account name (or profile icon) in the bottom-left corner of the window.
- Scroll through the list to find the app you want to reinstall.
- Click the download button (a cloud icon with a downward arrow) next to the app.
The app will download and install automatically. Once it's finished, you'll find it in your Applications folder and in Launchpad.
Can't Find the App in Your Purchase History?
- Check your Apple Account -- Make sure you're signed in with the same account you originally used. If you have multiple Apple Accounts, try signing in with each one.
- Search the App Store -- Open the App Store and search for the app by name. If you've previously purchased it, the download button will appear instead of a price.
- Check availability -- In rare cases, an app may have been temporarily removed from the App Store. If you can't find it at all, contact us and we'll help you out.
Tip: If you purchased the app directly from fiplab.com (not through the Mac App Store), you'll need to download it from the app's page on fiplab.com instead. Your original purchase confirmation email from Paddle also contains a download link. See Mac App Store vs. Direct: What's the Difference? for more details.
