How to Uninstall a FIPLAB App

Step 1: Quit the App

Before you can uninstall an app, you need to make sure it's not running.

• For regular apps: Bring the app to the foreground and press Cmd + Q, or right-click the app's icon in the Dock and select Quit.
• For menu bar apps: Click the app's icon in the menu bar, then select Quit (or right-click the icon and choose Quit).

Step 2: Delete the App

You can remove the app using one of the following methods.

Using Launchpad

1. Open Launchpad (click the Launchpad icon in the Dock or pinch with thumb and three fingers on the trackpad).
2. Find the app you want to delete.
3. Click and hold the app's icon until it starts to jiggle.
4. Click the X button on the app's icon, then confirm the deletion.

Note: The Launchpad method only works for apps installed from the Mac App Store.

Using Finder

1. Open Finder and go to the Applications folder (or press Cmd + Shift + A).
2. Find the app you want to delete.
3. Drag the app to the Trash in the Dock, or right-click it and select Move to Trash.
4. Empty the Trash to permanently remove the app.

Step 3: Remove App Data (Optional)

Uninstalling the app doesn't automatically remove its stored data and preferences. If you want a completely clean removal, you can also delete the app's container folder:

1. Open Finder and press Cmd + Shift + G.
2. Type ~/Library/Containers and press Enter.
3. Find and delete the folder matching the app's bundle identifier (e.g., com.fiplab.batteryhealth3).

Tip: If you think you might reinstall the app later, consider keeping the data folder so your settings and data are preserved.
