Keyboard Shortcuts for Handy Note
A reference of all keyboard shortcuts available in Handy Note for Mac.
Handy Note supports several keyboard shortcuts to help you work quickly without reaching for the mouse.
Default Shortcuts

Text Formatting Shortcuts
Standard macOS text formatting shortcuts work inside Handy Note:

Customising the Hashtag Search Hotkey
The global hotkey for opening the hashtag search can be changed in Settings:
- Open Settings (click the gear icon on any note, or press Cmd+,).
- Under General Settings, find the Toggle Tag Search with Hotkey option.
- Click the hotkey field and press your desired key combination.
- Make sure Enable Keyboard Shortcut is turned on.
The default hotkey is Ctrl+Shift+N. This hotkey works globally, meaning you can trigger the hashtag search from any app without switching to Handy Note first.
