Memory Clean - How do I unlock Extreme Clean in Memory Clean 2 if I already purchased it in Memory Clean?

Due to Apple's sandbox controls, we cannot automatically unlock Extreme Clean on Memory Clean 2 if you purchased it on Memory Clean 1. Therefore, please read below on how to unlock Extreme Clean for free if you already purchased it.

Please first ensure you still have Memory Clean 1 installed and that the Extreme Clean in-app purchase is unlocked. Once you have confirmed the above, follow the instructions below to unlock Extreme Clean in Memory Clean 2 for free:

1. Open Memory Clean 2
2. Click the cog in the top right corner of the window
3. Click the Preference item
4. Click the 'Extras' tab
5. Click the 'Select Memory Clean' button
6. Locate and select Memory Clean.app in the Applications list
7. Click the 'Choose' button

The app will then scan Memory Clean to check if you have purchased Extreme Clean and have it unlocked in Memory Clean. If it finds that you do have it unlocked, it will proceed to unlock the feature in Memory Clean 2.

NOTE: If you already deleted Memory Clean 1 before installing Memory Clean 2, then you need to go to the Mac App Store, then go to the Purchases tab, then redownload Memory Clean 1 and restore the Extreme Clean purchase on it via the Preferences window. Then you can follow the instructions about to unlock Extreme Clean on Memory Clean 2. Once you have unlocked Extreme Clean on Memory Clean 2, you can delete Memory Clean 1.
