Memory Clean 2 Direct - How do I unlock my previous Extreme Clean purchase?

Please carefully follow the steps below:

1. Confirm you are running Memory Clean 2 (Direct) v2.0.4 or higher. You can do this by opening the app's Preferences and checking the 'About' section. If you are running a version below v2.0.4, update the app by right clicking on the menubar icon and selecting 'Check for Updates'.

2. On Memory Clean 2 (Direct), navigate to the 'Extras' section on the app's preference panel and select the Memory Clean Mac App Store version that you originally used to buy the Extreme Clean in-app purchase (check your iTunes email receipt to find out if you originally bought it for Memory Clean 1 or 2).

Note: If you do not have the Mac App Store version anymore, you can redownload it as follows:

macOS Mojave and above:
- Open the Mac App Store
- Sign in using your Apple ID
- Click your name in the bottom left corner of the window
- Locate the app in the list
- Click the 'Install' button, it looks like a Cloud with an arrow pointing down

Older macOS versions:
- Open the Mac App Store
- Sign in using your Apple ID
- Click the Purchases tab
- Locate the app in the list
- Click the 'Install' button

3. VERY IMPORTANT: If you still are unable to unlock Extreme Clean, please double check that you are selecting the version of Memory Clean that you originally purchased Extreme Clean for. You may have purchased Extreme Clean on Memory Clean 1 and then subsequently unlocked it for free on Memory Clean 2. If this is the case, you will need to select Memory Clean 1 on the Extras section as this is the app that will contain the embedded digital receipt which will be checked against in order to unlock Extreme Clean for free on Memory Clean 2 (Direct).

If you are still experiencing an error after following all the steps above, then please open a support ticket and provide the following:

1) Archive/zip your Memory Clean Mac App Store versions so that we can verify your Extreme Clean digital receipt within the app binary

2) Copy/screenshot of your Mac App Store email receipt that shows when you purchased Extreme Clean
