Scheduling Automatic Tinting

Screen Tint can activate and deactivate itself on a schedule, so you do not need to remember to turn it on each evening.

Setting Up a Schedule

To set up a schedule:

1. In the Settings panel, set the "Run on a Schedule" toggle to the on position.
2. Use the time selectors under "Enable Between" to set your start time (for example, 9:00 PM) and end time (for example, 7:00 AM).
3. The tint will automatically activate at the start time and deactivate at the end time each day.

Overriding the Schedule

If you need to override the schedule at any point, click the menu bar icon, hover over the schedule time indicator, and select "Enable Now" or "Disable Now" to manually control the tint without changing your schedule settings.

This is useful when you need the tint earlier than your scheduled start time (for example, on a dark afternoon) or want to temporarily disable it during scheduled hours.

• Set your schedule to align with sunset and sunrise times in your region for the most natural experience.
• Use the override controls when your routine changes, rather than modifying the schedule itself, so your regular settings remain intact.
• Combine scheduling with a warm preset like Sunset or Amber for an automated blue-light reduction routine that requires no daily interaction.
