Organizing Shortcuts into Groups

Learn how to create and manage shortcut groups in Shortcut Bar, including custom group icons.

Groups let you organize your shortcuts into logical categories, making it easy to find what you need in the dropdown menu.

Creating a Group

  1. Open Settings and go to the Manage Shortcuts tab.
  2. Click the + button next to Shortcut Groups.
  3. Type a name for your group and press Enter.

Choosing a Group Icon

Each group can have its own icon to help you identify it at a glance.

  1. In the Manage Shortcuts panel, locate your group under Shortcut Groups.
  2. Click the colored circle next to the group name.
  3. Select an icon and color from the available options.

Shortcut Bar includes a range of built-in group icons to choose from, with 8 new icons added recently.

Adding Items to a Group

  1. Select the group under Shortcut Groups.
  2. Click the + button next to Manage Files, Folders & Web Bookmarks.
  3. Choose the file, folder, app, or other item you want to add.

Items within a group can be indented to create visual hierarchy.

Reordering Groups and Items

You can drag and drop groups and items in the Manage Shortcuts panel to rearrange their order. Items within groups can also be sorted by date.

Collapsing and Expanding Groups

In the dropdown menu, click a group name to collapse or expand it. This keeps your shortcut list tidy when you have many items.

Deleting a Group

  1. Select the group under Shortcut Groups.
  2. Click the - button.
  3. Confirm the deletion when prompted.

Deleting a group removes all shortcuts within it. This action cannot be undone.
