Does Shortcut Bar Support Syncing?

Information about syncing shortcuts across multiple Macs in Shortcut Bar.

Shortcut Bar does not currently support syncing shortcuts between Macs. Your shortcuts are stored locally on the Mac where you created them.

Moving Shortcuts to Another Mac

If you want to use the same shortcuts on a different Mac, you can manually export and import them:

  1. On your original Mac, open Shortcut Bar and go to Settings.
  2. Look for an Export option to save your shortcuts to a file.
  3. Transfer that file to your other Mac (via AirDrop, a USB drive, or cloud storage).
  4. On the new Mac, open Shortcut Bar and use the Import option to load your shortcuts.

Keeping Shortcuts Consistent

If you use Shortcut Bar on multiple Macs, you will need to manually add or update shortcuts on each machine. There is no automatic sync between devices at this time.
