Full-Screen and Resizable Window

Smart Countdown Timer features a fully resizable window and full-screen mode, making it adaptable to any situation where a visible countdown is needed.

Resizing the Timer Window

The timer window is fully resizable. Grab any corner or edge and drag to make it larger or smaller. The countdown display scales to fit the window, so the timer remains readable at any size.

This flexibility lets you keep a small timer in the corner of your screen during everyday work, or expand it to fill a significant portion of the display when you need the countdown to be more prominent.

Full-Screen Mode

Smart Countdown Timer supports full-screen mode, which is ideal for:

• Presentations -- Display a large, easy-to-read countdown that your entire audience can see.
• Classrooms -- Show a countdown on a projector so students know how much time remains for an activity or exam.
• Events -- Use a dedicated screen to show a countdown for sessions, breaks, or deadlines.

To enter full-screen mode, use the standard macOS full-screen button (the green button in the top left corner of the window) or the macOS keyboard shortcut.

Always on Top

If you do not need full-screen mode but still want the timer visible at all times, use the Always on Top feature. Click the Lock icon in the timer window to pin it above all other windows. The timer stays visible no matter what app is in the foreground.

Window Opacity

You can adjust the transparency of the timer window in the Settings panel using the window opacity setting. This allows the timer to remain visible while letting you see content behind it, which is useful when overlaying the timer on other work.
