Creating an Alarm

To create a new alarm, do one of the following:

• Click the + icon in the top-right corner of the app window.
• Click the gear icon in the top-left corner and select Add Alarm.
• Right-click the menu bar icon and select Add Alarm.

Alarm Settings

On the Set Alarm screen you can configure:

• Time -- Click the hour and minute segments on the clock face to type in a time, or use the up and down arrows to adjust it.
• Alarm Title -- Give the alarm a descriptive name so you know what it is for when it fires.
• Enabled -- The tick mark means the alarm is active. Untick it to create the alarm in a disabled state.
• Repeat -- Select individual days of the week for the alarm to repeat. You can choose any combination from one day to all seven.
• Snooze -- Enable or disable the option to snooze the alarm when it goes off.
• Sound -- Choose from 20 built-in alarm sounds, select None for a silent alarm, or scroll to the bottom and choose Add Custom Sound to pick any audio file from your Mac.
• Fade In -- Enable this to have the alarm sound start quietly and gradually increase in volume.
• Volume -- Drag the volume slider to set how loud the alarm plays. The selected sound previews as you adjust it.

Click Confirm when you are satisfied with the settings.

Managing Alarms

Once you have created alarms, they appear in the main app window with a countdown showing how long until each one fires.

• Edit -- Double-click an alarm, or right-click it and select Edit Alarm.
• Disable/Enable -- Right-click an alarm and toggle its enabled state. Disabled alarms fade out and move to the bottom of the list. Right-click again to re-enable.
• Delete -- Right-click an alarm (or Control-click / two-finger tap) and select Delete.

When an Alarm Fires

A popup appears on screen showing the alarm title. You can choose to Stop the alarm or Snooze it (if snooze is enabled for that alarm). The default snooze duration is 10 minutes, but this can be changed in Settings.
