Dimming Settings in Window Focus

Overlay Settings

Tint colour -- The overlay defaults to black, but you can click the colour swatch and choose any colour. Use a dark shade for a subtle dimming effect, or experiment with other colours to match your wallpaper or preference.

Overlay opacity -- Drag the slider to control how strongly the background is dimmed. Move it to the left for a light fade or to the right for a near-complete blackout behind the active window.

Highlight Modes

Window Focus offers several ways to determine which windows stay bright:

• Single Window -- Only the frontmost window remains fully visible. All other windows, including other windows from the same app, are dimmed.
• Active App -- All windows belonging to the currently active app stay bright. Windows from other apps are dimmed.
• Active Display Only -- Dimming applies only on the display where the active window is located. Other connected displays are not affected.
